While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I encountered behind its threshold was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

The floorboards were filthy, and a nauseating aroma of decaying beverages and filthy restrooms filled the entire establishment . With a smell of a mixture of urine , decay and sickness . The counter , which should be the main attraction of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and litter that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks . The toilet was in even more deplorable shape — clogged , with a cracked flush mechanism and surfaces marked in what I can only assume was human excrement .
It wasn’t just a one-off bad night either. Going through other patrons’ reviews and conversing with residents , it seems that the standard of sanitation (or lack thereof) at this bar is a persistent problem . Many visitors have reported seeing bugs darting across the counter and traces of mice in the adjoining rooms.
